GoDaddy - Configure DNS Settings

Log in to your GoDaddy account and click DNS next to the domain you want to connect.

Configure the DNS records for the root domain

1) Look over the existing Type "A" records.

2) If an "A" record exists where "Name" is set to "@", edit it and enter "104.40.63.98" under Value. 

3) If such a record doesn't exist, click on "Add" at the bottom of the Records list.

4) From the Record Type list, select "A". Fill in the following fields: "Name" to "@", "Value" to "104.40.63.98",  "TTL" to "1 Hour".

*** IMPORTANT: If your marketplace URL address looks like this "https://mtmarketplace.azurewebsites.net/Site?name=example" before connecting your domain, it means you DON'T have to use "104.40.63.98", but "104.40.87.152" instead. ***

5) From the Record Type list, select "TXT". Fill in the following fields: "Name" to "asuid", "Value" to "7D5953B4098242B0D45860E9537EC920D1F3287435A1545385D9C4DBB6DA604D" and you can leave "TTL" to "1 Hour".

6) Click "Save" and it will be added to the records list. 

7) Look over the existing Type "CNAME" records.

8) If a “CNAME” record exists, under “Host” enter "www" and under "Value" enter "mtreborn.azurewebsites.net"*. If such a record doesn’t exist, click “Add" at the bottom of the Records list.

9) From the Record Type list, select "CNAME". Fill in the following fields: "Host" to "www", "Value" to "mtreborn.azurewebsites.net" and you can leave "TTL" to "1 Hour".

10) Make sure that all changes have been saved.

***Wait about 5-10 minutes to allow your DNS settings to update before moving onto the next step.
